These 100% Chillproof longpants are equally suitable teamed up with a Sharkskin top, under a Drysuit, or under drypants for kayaking. They are cut with a high rear waist for comfort and warmth, provide protection from chafing when dry, and provide peace of mind knowing that if you do get wet you will still be warm. Chillproof longpants can be worn in combination with all other Sharkskin tops.

About Chillproof

Chillproof is an aquatic specific windchill proof, 3-layer composite material with the thermal properties of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit but without many of the drawbacks of traditional wetsuits. Chillproof can be worn under a wetsuit for extra warmth and enhanced wind protection. Chillproof can also be worn by itself as the perfect watersports thermal wear or layered with other Sharkskin garments for extra warmth and insulation.

It is ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling, jet skiing, paddle watersports, board watersports, wind watersports, sailing and many other watersports.

  • Durable seam thread to resist deterioration in saltwater so the garment will last longer.

    Good under a summer wettie for winter dives

    Wore these along with the top, under a 3 mm closed-cell neoprene wet suit. Free diving for scallops where the water was 12 degrees C in Port Phillip Bay and I managed at least 2 hours. When I jumped out I didn't even have numb fingers and toes :)

    Used the same 7 kg weight-belt I wear with the wet suit plus 1 extra weight. TBH I could probably have managed without the extra weight.

    Real nice!!!

    I'm wondering where these things have been my whole life. The fleece on the inside of these garments is a game changer. They're comfortable and soft. I'm definitely going to use them under my drysuit when it gets colder.

    Chillproof long pants - like a second skin

    Enough elasticity, thus fits well. Good quality. Good thermal insulation, but a little doubtful that it’s equivalent to a 3mm wet suit
